Here is my story: I'm a veteran of almost 12 years of devoted service in the United Sates Air Force. Force to separate because of heart problems, I am currently disabled, unemployed and living off my disability allowance I receive each month. I'm considered feasibly unemployable by the Vocational Rehabilitation Section of the Veterans Administration but not to the point of receiving a 100% IU rating, which would bring me an additional $1300.00 per month in extra income.

There are thousands of disabled veterans throughout the world. Of those thousands, a large percentage can't re-enter the workforce because of the severity of their disabilites. There are also hundreds of injuried veterans now returning home from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan that will not be employable because of injuries they sustained in combat, for this reason I believe that the Veterans Administrations wil be bogged down with paperwork because of the increasing number of disability claims that will need to be processed. This I feel will cause rating increases to become more and more complex, and a 100% disability rating will become one long drawn out process. So the big question is how can a disabled veteran survive in today's society?

Work from home jobs are becoming more and more frequent throughout the United States. Many companies are paying disabled veterans $10.00 and upward to work from the comfort of there homes over a voip line on the internet. This is very good for many disabled vets who can sustain employment in the workforce, the only downside being that you would have to be meet their qualifications and skills which can be easily obtain through a training course such as the Veterans Business Training Center (VBTC) of the Military Order of The Purple Heart Foundation.

Work From Home Business: Many of veterans have turned to eBay as a source of income. To all those that don't know, eBay is a internet auction site. On eBay, your free to buy or sell anything from clothing and electronics to cars and boats, as long as it meets the rules and regulations of eBay's website. This is an excellent way of making extra money, but beware, there are thousands of people just that have lost money and merchandise on eBay, and believe me, if you have not done your homework, you could get caught up in a real mess, so before you sign up for this website and others like it, make sure you do your research.

Is it true that you can make money doing paid surveys? Yes! It's true. You can make money by taking surveys over the internet but you won't make hundreds of dollars a day doing them, but you could make enough to help to pay monthly bills, depending on how many surveys you do per day and which survey company you decide to join. Another popular way to make money is the Affiliate Program. You build your own website, then put up advertisements from other companies. These companies will pay you a commission for customers that make a purchase on thier website by clicking a link on your peronal site.
